FREE SHIPPING ON ALL SAFES IN CONTINENTAL USA!!!

Our safes are individually inspected and tested prior to shipping. Size and weight of your safe purchase determines the shipping method.

Safes weighing 85 lbs. or less will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground. Safes are insured for up to $100.00 value. Additional insurance is available for additional cost.

Safes weighing greater than 85 lbs. are shipped via LTL truck to your destination inside the continental United States. Safes shipped via truck arrive to the specified address and are lowered to the ground by the trucking company.

Please specify if you wish to have the safe delivered inside by contacting us in advance (sometimes inside shipping is not available in certain areas). There will be an additional $80 inside delivery fee, and a liability waiver must be signed. The agreement on terms and conditions page includes this notification.

IMPORTANT!

Please complete the following steps before accepting your safe. If you fail to do so, you will be left with a damaged safe and no recourse. Neither the manufacturer nor Lock It Up Safe, LLC will be held responsible for any un-noted damage due to shipping once the products have left our warehouses.

  1. Open all of the boxes, even if there are no obvious carton tears, crush markings, punctures, dents, creases or any other damage you can see.

  2. Our Safes have security features that can be damaged by dropping and/or poor handling during the shipment. Please check and make sure the safes open, close, lock and unlock properly.

  3. If there is minor cosmetic damage, please write "Damage, needs inspection" on the freight bill before you sign. Failure to note this on the freight bill will normally result in a partial claim or denial. All cartons and packaging must be saved until a claim is settled.
  4. Damage discovered after signing the freight bill will not be honored for replacement or repair. Therefore be as sure as possible before signing the freight bill.

  5. If damage is found other than minor cosmetic, refuse the delivery by writing on freight bill "found major damage, customer refuses delivery". Briefly describe damage in writing on freight bill, and have the driver sign it. Only then should you sign the freight bill.
  6. Contact us immediately if you have any questions about the shipment you are receiving.

  7. Contact us within 24 hours of receiving damaged/refused safe in order to remedy the damaged product. Failure to do so will leave you with a damaged safe and no recourse.

PLEASE NOTE:

Buyer is responsible to be available at time of delivery to inspect the product thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. Buyer must check for any signs of damage. If any signs of damage are noticed, including small punctures or rub marks, be sure to remove the packaging and inspect the product thoroughly. The freight carrier must allow time for the product to be inspected for ANY signs of damage, but the inspection must be made priority and done in a timely fashion.

Any sign of damage, small or large, must be noted on the delivery receipt. Any unacceptable damage mustbe refused at the time of delivery while the freight carrier is still on site.

Signing the delivery receipt without notation relieves the freight carrier of all damages that may have been caused during shipping and any claims after the fact, will be denied.

At any time damage is noted on the delivery receipt and still accepted, the claim will be reviewed by the freight carrier and will be reasonably settled at their discretion.

To minimize any inconvenience or delays, any minor damages such as small scratches or replaceable parts,
can and will be supplied by Lock It Up Safe's Suppliers at no charge, regardless of who is at fault.

Though the procedures on damaged goods may seem strict, Lock It Up Safe has reviewed many freight carrier
policies and has found them all to be similar. Lock It Up Safe must follow the freight carrier’s procedures and regulations.

Lock It Up Safe's suppliers vigorously removes packaging and inspects all the products at the time of shipping to ensure quality to the buyer. All products with scratches, dents, or malfunctions are repaired or removed from inventory upon inspection.
